Anecdote: According to his own words, this was the first time Guillén had ever written lyrics for a musical work, previously composed. It was an interesting experience for him, and a real historic privilege for me. (See, in volume II, page 199, of his¨Prosa de Prisa¨, the essay entitled, ¨Una experiencia¨.)
